Default power outage at canterbury

that was fun.. I guess its still out 3 hours in? Nice work. at least the auto shuffler at 30/60 was still working, nice of it to be on the emergency generator..

That seems like interesting foresight.

I played for 2 hours before it was 90 degrees and despite the fact that my sense of smell is terrible I was getting pretty overwhelmed and scooted. Also I won 2 racks in an hour at the 30 so I did the vehn classic hit and run. Apparently it came back on about 3 hours in. They gave away water and pop but not dove bars or sobe I think they were just clueless about what outlets had the emergency power or not, I think the back row of tables had it and maybe some others too. The newfangled eletronic board was kaput of course. This was the middle of the tournament too. Musta been awesome to be playing at an 11 handed table in this mess.

I had this vision of the lights going out and security being powerless to stop the horde of degenerates from taking the cage.

As a fellow cake eater, I find your view of the common man refreshing.
"Minnesota Nice" must have been in full bloom.

Haha,

Yea I was playing 15 while this happened. I was up two racks and didn't feel quite secure with their "claim" that the security cameras still worked. So I quickly 2 outted somebody and got up and left.
