Default $5 rebuy, after rebuy. bottom set

Villian seems like a TAG. during the last 20 or so hands that we've been together, he folded to a gigasmic overbet re-raise push. he made a re-raise. and most recently, he doubled up, getting it all in with two pair with a connected board when he needed to double up. he's probably solid.

I'm in UTG+1 with 33. villian is next to me in MP1. I have 29.6k, he has 17.2k. we both limp, the blinds call/check.

flop (about 1.8k in the pot): 4d 3h Th

blinds check, I go 1k. he min raises to 2k. I re-min raise him back to 4k and he pushes for 13k. what hand range do you put him on? call or fold?

call...you will see everthing from a flush draw to A 10 trying to protect...not even close at this level IMO

I don't like the min reraise back at him on flop. He can easily call with a flush draw, which you don't want happening in an eventually 10K pot.

I'm assuming the blinds are 200/400/25 here, just to clear things up mentally.

I snapcall, since the only logical set he should have here is 44, while he could have hands like 65hh.

Ask yourself. Why are you playing 33 in the first place?

Insta-call. If he has a better set, you pay him off.

and it was 200/400/25 and he did have 44. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't supposed to be able to smell the higher set and be able to fold it.

gigasmic overbet re-raise push

This alone makes this post...best desciption i've heard yet.

regarding the hand...yeah he might have 44, but he could also have A4hh;A2hh;A5hh;34;56;56hh;67hh and maybe some other stuff as well. You started this betting with a weak lead, into a flop with a lot of draws, so chances are that villain has put u on a draw/made hand that's taking a stab. U have a set and getting it in now is exactly the result that you want...you're not close to deep enough to let this go IMO.
