Check. There are no draws so the flop looks like an ace or air testing your c-bet. You're way ahead or way behind (usually ahead).

So check turn for pot control, call a reasonable river bet. If he checks river, value bet.

Dry board check. Call a bet on the river. WA/WB and he will often fold when WB.

Check I guess. The problem I have though is when he leads for $16 on the river, do I call or do I raise?

I almost always put the shorty in on the flop though. Insta-calls with KJ, A4 etc.

Flop c/r looks like SB is testing the waters with a weak Ace or air and has decided to check the turn after you call the c/r.

I'm more inclined to bet about $50 on the turn and will fold to CRAI from SB.

Checking is okay but you're losing value from weaker Aces calling you down, which is why I usually get it all in on the flop vs shortstacks.
