WTF never fold. Villain is shortstacked and could just as easily have 22 or A9 as AA.

vs a shortstack, calling pf and folding flop is bad. are you on the 'see if he stops betting' draw? call, double up the shortstack and move on. i consider shortstacks retards, so i would think that his range is bigger than qq-aa

consider this, you were in later position and could have raised with anything (in his eyes) so he reraises you before the flop. Depending on how aggressive a player he is, this could mean any kind of significant A-x or some kind of pair (also keep in mind, you are 5-handed, so open up your mind to a broader scope of starting requirements, for you and your opponents). If he has QQ, KK or AA....so be it. It's considered a cooler, and will happen from time to time.

You simply CAN'T fold JJ here. Besides...if he really had AA, KK or QQ, why would he move all-in to overbet the pot on that kind of flop? He would have bet something like 10-15, i think, hoping that you see his bet as weakness...but no. He is trying to knock you off the hand with this overbet...and why would he want you to fold if he had AA, KK, or QQ? Follow me? I would've put him on 77,66,44 or some kind of A-x....who knows. Either way, I'm sure JJ was the best hand.

I wouldn't love my hand in this spot, but I'd call the all-in against a shortstack. Given how small his stack was, you couldn't have been set-mining PF so this doesn't seem like a very tough decision. If you're going to see a flop here, you can't fold when rags fall. I think I might have pushed preflop, unless the shortstack was very tight and patient, in which case I might have folded. Calling seems like the worst of the three options.

this is a good point w/ full stacks, but w/ short stacks it's even much morer worse to hope for a better flop than this
