Patrik Antonius by far, the guy destroys literally every game he is a part of whether its Limit holdem, NL 6 max, Heads up NL and limit, Omaha Hi PL, Omaha Hi-Lo, the only game I haven't seen him rape is Stud and thats because its rarely played, oh and he is beating the biggest limits and the best players consistantly including Ted Forrest, how can it not be him?

[/ QUOTE ]

because people like ivey, reese, and forrest excel at stud, and all the other games. that's how it can't be antonious.

[/ QUOTE ]

right now the vast majority of highstakes online is some form of Holdem or Omaha and Antonius has the best results of anybody, and by good margin

[/ QUOTE ]

If the question was who was the best online player I think thats a good argument, but overall Id still go with Ivey.

Funny you mentioned Ivey. I think he is definitely up there. For me, my #1 would be Ivey, then Negreanu, and Ted Forrest to round it up.

I think Ivey is just a natural. This guy puts some crazy moves and crazy reads on his opponents. Most of the time if he gets knocked out it is usually set over set or a bad beat. Ivey makes very few bad decisions and that is what poker is all about.

I would back a trained chimp before "I know i am beat but will call anyways" Negreanu any day
