Default Schwab Bank High Yield Checking

Schwab has a new checking account that get 4.25% APY. It apparently has no fees, min balance, and they refund ATM fees from other banks. Sounds pretty good.

I was thinking of switching to this from Bank of America. What do you guys think of this checking account? Am I missing anything important?

Also, how is Schwab with investing in stocks, mutual funds, ect? Would I be better off keeping my savings in my HSBC account (5.05% APY) and getting some Vangard funds? Thanks.
