Default 200NL 3-bet light - continue the line + stack off on flop?

UTG is 26/22 over ~1800 hands normally resteal from blinds as he can raise light.

BTN is 40/5 over ~ 100 hands
SB is new player but 56/11 over ~ 30 hands

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2

Stack sizes:
UTG: $718.38
UTG+1: $192.00
CO: $181.00
Button: $144.98
SB: $112.95
Maddie84: $195.00

Pre-flop: (6 players) Maddie84 is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

do we like the move from the BB in the first place?
UTG pretty much instafolded. surprised at BTN and SB calling ~25% of their stacks preflop.

do we now shove/call or fold?

I really really hate preflop when your hand sucks so much and you're against a UTG raiser and 2 loose retards. Even worse that your raise is probably too small

i think this is a fold. you basically only have 8 outs (if that). i'd probably call if i had draw to the nuts, but you might be drawing to 4 outs here easily. and pot odds give you 3.5:1 so you have to win 28% of the time to make this call nEV and have about 32% in superbestcase scenario (= rarely).

I don't like 3 betting light OOP to 2 people who look likely to call with vip's of 40 and 56. You know they're likely to call you so your best off exploiting this with decent hands.

As played you have correct odds to call for your draw.

This is a simple odds calculation here.

75.95 to win 195.95, looks like you have 8 outs...plug and chug.

Don't like the initial raise out of position, would have just called the opening raise and judged the flop texture.

That question answered...

Then what would I do after the shove from the SB?
They both are pot stuck and I will have to draw out on both hands and have no guarantee of drawing to the winning hand.
We can get no more cash from the SB and not much more from the button... I think I would muck.

My 2c,

results(highlight):

i shove all in, button calls. SB - J9, BTN - 77, pretty much all action flop. on knowing their hands now surely the raise to 38 gets through the majority of times? or is it bad to think that way? what about that if the flop completely blanks and after check i lead out and take the pot?

Also, you're not getting ppl with those sorts of stats to fold PF, and even though UTG is a light raiser he is still UTG and only 22 for PFR or whatever. Raising here PF w/ marginal holdings gets us into bad spots like this.
