there's is a 25 chip ante and the BB seemed tight. I was 60% sure I was risking 209 to win 781. blah...I suck at agro poker.

If BB was uber-tight here i guess the play isn't that bad, but even tight players call here with A4 and QJ with 5BBs.

If this was the money bubble and the table was playing tight because of it, then okay. But most of the time, this is not good.

if you wanna be aggressive like this
aint you got a solid read that the BB would only call with Ax or a pair you could raise it to 1k at least you look slightly stronger and he still gotta decide about his stack

but all kinda depends on how tight the BB is and how he percieves you at the table
if you been pounding at it for some time hes more likely to call with Kx aswell or indeed a better Q
