Default Will ANY online site start spreading 6 card omaha PLEASE.

Its such a great gamblers game. Really popular here in Scotland and in Ireland as well. You cant ever miss a flop. Even a tight player will play 80% of hands and this will be on his rockiest of rocky days. You can flop top set, the nut flush draw AND the top straight draw all at the same time. You will probably still lose tho. The problem is since a lot of pots turn into all in fests the big winner of the night will not have won a few buy ins, he will have made everyone at his table flat out busto. Online rooms just want the rake to go round and round forever and shy away from such volatile bankroll busting games as 6o. I mean if they had their way we would all play 1/2 FL till our death beds. I just wish a site would spread this game man. Its so much fun.

It would be too easy to play technically correctly.

The only playable hands would be only top set, nut flush, nut flush draw and straights with redrawing value. It'll be pure lotto once the regulars pick up on this easy strategy.

I would imagine it would be pretty good for the site, as most of the pots would hit max rake. However, Omaha player bases are pretty small already, and if you split them further it could be that none of the forms of the game will have sustainable amounts of players anymore.

That split pool will also have to redeposit funds more often than they do right now as the rake would work out as being higher.

I'd like to play this game, but I don't know if it'd be possible...

Wouldnt the aim of this game be to flop top set and/or draw to nut flush, folding everything else.

Seems like a really really crappy game to me.

Could you explain the rules?

I tried a quick and google and didn't get instant gratification.

I'm guessing you play the same as omaha, but instead of starting with 4 cards, you get 6 cards. Is that it?

Yeah thats exactly it. Identical to 4 card PLO except every player gets 6 down cards.

It is a pretty easy game to play technically correct to the poster who said so. However people make mistakes. Generally in this game huge mistakes are made on the turn by some people. There is always someone out there who is willing to put 1000 dollars in the pot on the hope the last card is a diamond. Sometimes this is me tho .

FWIW I have spoken to an American las vegas card room supervisor who had heard of this game/played it before. He said its referred to as "Crazy Omaha" across the pond.

My home game was 5 card omaha8 and the donkeys loved it. Of course if you have any clue you know you better have a big hand or draw to even bother but these donkeys would chase anything.
