Default NL25 - How to deal with donkbets

Villain just sat down. This is his first hand.
On the flop I raised his weak bet but his call leaves me with an uncertain decision on the turn.

What's the decision? You found out all you needed to know when he called your flop raise. Just fold.

as played I think you can call getting odds to hit your gutter or an ace.

flop raise is standard some players donk with draws and fold to a raise some with week hands some with monsters you just kind of have to feel these guys out and make notes as to what their donk bets mean about the strength of their hand and how the respond to a raise.

as for the hand id just call turn getting those odds all day.

Tough to let it go when you just 'know' he has 89 here right?

Your flop bet was to force out the weak hands and bluffs. He called, so you should just give up.

Edit: I suppose I wouldn't be so against a call on the turn, didn't realize how big the pot was now. Small chance you are ahead and can get a free showdown plus small chance to catch your Ace.
