Default What are the odds?

Dear All,

Having read the "absolute" poker thread with interest and the whole "he must be able to see the whole cards etc" I am adding this.

I have been playing at FTP 6 max $25NL anyway the following happened this morning which surprised me and was quite an unreal run of cards ( I can post HH if anyone is REALLY interested)

The amounts won is irrelevant.......

Dealt 88, flop a set
the NEXT hand dealt 88, Flop a set
The VERY NEXT hand dealt JJ, flop is J84 ....ready for the irony?

I stack the guy and he shows ......... Yep,... 88

So what are the chances of a player being dealt a SPECIFIC pair in my case 88 and flopping a set back to back

THEN getting JJ and hitting ANOTHER Set, three pairs three sets one after another?

Or for 88 to be dealt three times and flop a set three times in row?

I must be cheating!!

Since it happened, the odds are 1. Thankfully Schroedinger's cat made it safely.

I love people like you who think they're making clever points when they're really just looking dumb. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
