Default Sklanskey Bucks / Poker EV in fixed limit

hey there,

some time ago there was something about a program in the forum called sklanskey Bucks calculator or poker EV.
A tool to see if you are running good or bad in no-limit. these was based on your equity and all-ins and so on...

I wonder if this is any good to use for limit?

It has some application, as it examines street by street equity of hands that reach showdown.

For example, I've been getting crushed in my shots at 15/30, despite the fact that I feel like I've played ok and the games have been pretty beatable when I've played. This tends to bear that out:

However, the 'luck graphs' bit is useless, because it measures only luck AFTER one player is AI. Also, it will tend to overstate your expectation relative to your actual earn because of the emphasis it places on hands that reach showdown.

Well on the above graph, the red line is my sklanksy bucks, ie the sum of my pot equity in hands that went to SD. The other lines represent my actual winnings and actual SD winnings. The fact that I SHOULD be slightly up in SD winnigns (from an EQ standpoint) and am in fact massively down indicates that I'm running bad (and I can post the hands to prove it - K7 < Q5 on K32 flop for example...)

By contrast in my 5/10 DB, the sklansky $ and my actual SD winnings are pretty close...

Closest thing I've seen is pokerstove. You have to know the basic combos for things (offsuit non pair hand 12 combos, suited kind 4 combos etc.) and then do some basic math.

indeed, but 2 days ago I made some combo analysis of following:
BU steal vs BB defend
the BB hold AJo
and the board was Kxx

and it took me like 2 hours to discount BB hand and the flop out of the available combos
