Wang needs more love in this thread. Seriously. He gets paid 1/20th of what Pavano gets paid and look where the f he's at now. He will be a FA after this season, however, and I have no idea how much the Yankees are willing to sign him for. Any guesses/projections?

[/ QUOTE ] well the plan would be to put melky in cf and damon in left... so that defense compared to damon in cf and matsui in lf is a big gap... also especially on a joe torre team he needs another good reliever

[/ QUOTE ] im just busting your balls man but a) such a trade would never happen so can i please stop reading about it and b) no - im not sure a stud reliever will be able to fill the drop in production that will occur if we lose matsui... damon is not healthy enough to be starting in the outfield so the yanks would be relegated to an outfield of melky, abreu and kevin thompson, which would suck matsui has a > 300 EqA right now which is pretty good
