Re: 2nd nuts facing all in 3 bet pot
you got to believe he is doing this with the 10s? This would be a pretty sick shove with Ks. I dont think he is shoving with a worse hand here often enough to make it a profitable call. No reads. I fold.
Did you call and see him table AA or AJ? |

Re: 2nd nuts facing all in 3 bet pot
we need to be good like 40% of the time here for this call to be +ev. Pretty sick spot. I call because his line is so weird. You would think he would either Vbet or check to induce a bluff. This is such an overbet for the nuts.
If we were deeper, i might reconsider. |

Re: 2nd nuts facing all in 3 bet pot
I re-raise preflop. As played I definitely call because this is a good bluff card and his overbet seems bluffy. We're good here enough. If not call it a cooler and move on.

[/ QUOTE ] 4 betting preflop here we might as well have 22 as QQ surely? What is your modus operandi for 4 betting in this spot? I dont think its legitimate thought process to call in this spot and call it a coller if ur toast. His turn line is fkd up, but im still not overly comfortable with a call. |

I dont think its legitimate thought process to call in this spot and call it a coller if ur toast. [/ QUOTE ] When did I ever say the thought process was just call it a cooler? We need to be good here 40% of the time. We lose to AxKs/KxKs and beat AA/JJ/AJ/TxTs/random bluff. We're good here >40% of the time so we call. I think it's a serious flaw in your thought process if you think the villain has the nuts every time he overbet shoves. Especially after we smooth call him preflop and check to him on two streets. What does he think we can call him with? I gaurantee you he doesn't think we have the Qs. If he doesn't think we have the Qs why is he shoving for value? |
