Default Is this worth it?

I crossposted this in the B & M forum as I am not sure which one it belongs in.

I have been playing for a living for 3 years now strictly online. I am thinking of taking a break and playing live for the next couple of months.

My local casino offers $100 & 200 Sit N Go's. These games are super soft, like 3 years ago back in the day $5 Party Sit N Go soft. I've probably played about 13 of these in the last week and either won or split the prize 7 times

My question is are they profitable enough to be playing tournaments only or would cash games be better. Or is the structure of these tournaments to bad to make them worth playing. Does luck become more of a factor with such a crappy blind structure?

The blind structure sucks:

11 players all start with 40 chips, Blinds Start at 1-2 and double every 11 hands, the blinds get capped at 10-20

The house takes 1 buy in as rake so an $1,100 prize pool becomes $1,000 for the winner. A $2,200 prize pool becomes
$2,000

Once there are 3 players left a deal can be made. Thes games run all day long and take about an hour to complete

Obviously the variance in these games would be huge but would they be more profitable then say, playing a 10-20 game?

Any thoughts?

Blind structure & rake seems to be ok imo.

The real downside is that its winner-takes-all. (i.e. ICM doesnt apply, and fishes will often play correctly "by accident")

If players are as bad as you say, this should be beatable with ~20% ROI. So, thats roughly 40$/h for the bigger ones.

I pretty sure 10-20 is a much higher limit than a $100 sng.

It's not winner takes all it can be split once there are 3 players lefft

I think the structure is quite nice, you can pretty much play push/fold from the start, and blinds do not rise too fast. I think its only slightly faster than the Stars-Turbos, just with the first 3 levels skipped. Rake is definitely ok for B&M too.

But for the payouts, i'd prefer some fixed 0.5/0.3/0.2-type structure. Even if they allow deals, i think the game is pretty much reduced to cEV=$EV - or at least very close to it.
