[/ QUOTE ] no way, the get to the back of the bus was hilarious [/ QUOTE ] Just seems so terribly contrived. The last ones I remember finding truly funny were from the Diversity Day episode. That and The Convict episode, when Michael wishes that the company, in order to avoid perpetuating racial stereotypes, had hired a white ex-convict instead of a black one. These days it's just Michael going to painstaking effort to say the most awkward racially-charged remark he can think of in a setting in which it's unimaginable that such a thing would actually happen. Tonight's was not the worst offender, but I'm worn out from the much-worse jokes in previous episodes, and I'm ready for it to stop. |
