Hey GiantWalleye - I sent you a PM about the range a while back and you never answered. My whole family is from up there (grandfather was mayor of Hibbing back in the day).
And oh yes, the good old Wisconsin vs. Minnesota rivalry. I've lived my entire life in MN. Argued this at length in college -U of M, Duluth - many 'Sconnie transplants go to school there. The fact is, the two states are pretty much the same. I'll tell you what sucks about MN though, the stupid ass liquor laws we have. Can't purchase any liquor on a Sunday. Statewide, liquor stores close at 10 PM at night, but most counties have a 8 PM rule. And until fairly recently, bars only open until 1 AM. Major beat... We loved crossing the bay to go to Superior to drink. That town is a toilet, but the bars there are fan-freaking-tastic. And the after bar food, best ever. Hammond Spur anyone?

BTW my buddy got a ticket for having < 1 gram of bud in WI. Ticket total = $440. MN tickets are about $100 + the medical marijuana bill just passed the Senate. Yes!

Let's not forget that WI has retarded gambling laws (especially no deducting losses for state taxes).
Besides Madison and Door County, MN is a whole lot better.
