[ QUOTE ]
My favorite is the sign that says we card people under 35(or whatever) if you can tell when somebody is under 35, why cant you tell if they are under 21.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you try to card everyone who is under 35, and in some cases, your age guess is off by a few years, you'll still catch all minors.

Not the case if you try to card everyone who is under 21 and in some cases you guess wrong.

Fascinating huh? (I hope I just didn't get leveled.)

Apparently TN just passed some ridiculous law requiring clerks at grocery stores (gas station type places too, maybe) to card for all beer sales. People are stupid.

I am 40 and got carded a month ago. I guess I should take it as a compliment, but it seems fairly ridiculous at my age. The kid who asked for my id could have been my son.

My uncle is damn near 70, with a gray beard, and still gets carded cause of stupid laws.

Up at school, I rarely, if ever get carded. Just this weekend a dude at the door of the big bar at school got remanded for IDing me (more of a "yea, dont ID him, hes good). Just thought it was funny, and its also not a huge brag cause its a small college town.

Is there any chance the areas that require carding everyone are doing it to spite hobos without ID?

My dad got carded at chipotle. He's 55.

I almost never get carded although one [censored] at 7-11 carded me one day. It was like the 7th time i'd been in there and he didn't card me the first 6. Not sure wtf is up with that. Maybe they'd just been busted in a sting or something.

Never been carded. Basicly, everybody can get booze everywere and everytime. The consequence is that you see a lot of 14 year old sleeping it of on the sidewalk at 5 pm when they boozed up right after school.
