annoying spot with the nuts.
sounds silly but it is annoying.
whats your turn plan here, betting just gets it AI vs an ace and folds out all worse hands but we cant check. maybe going for some absurd overbet and get him to call light thinking were repping an ace? villain is 22/20/6 over 40. im LAG here at 33/29/inf over small sample. im squeezing here for value and SB is like 34/0/.36 over 40 hands Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter SB: $110.25 Hero (BB): $158.10 UTG: $43.75 CO: $106.05 BTN: $154.10 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) 2 folds, BTN raises to $3.50, SB calls $3, Hero raises to $14, BTN calls $10.50, SB folds Flop: ($31.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $24, BTN calls $24 Turn: ($79.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) |

Re: annoying spot with the nuts.
Betting close to pot always looks like a bluff, that's probably what I'd do.

Re: annoying spot with the nuts.
What if you wait 5 seconds or so and underbet around 30? Maybe he'd bluff-shove over that or call it somewhat light? I don't really see overbetting getting called by anything other than an A.

[/ QUOTE ] ok i considered this. lets say we take this line and river is club that pairs the board. he has less then PSB left and sets/flush just got me. would we just shove, c/c (which loses so much value to hands we beat, and shoving alos make make him fold a worse hand. grrrrrr damn that turn |

Re: annoying spot with the nuts.
Probably c/f. I can't really think of a hand he'd get to the river with that he'd want to turn into a bluff. Worst case scenario he gets you off a split, but I guess I could live with that.
