There is another "short cut" to NJTP or 295:

AC Xway to exit 41, Berlin-Cross Keys Rd, make left

Berlin-Cross Keys Rd (rt 689) for 7 miles to Glassboro

follow signs for Rt 322, 9 miles to NJTP exit 2 or a few miles more to 295 to save a few quarters in tolls

This route saves 9 miles or so and is good if you want to make a food or gas stop. It will not save you time unless traffic is bad further up 42 or 295 around Philly.
