Ok, ok, here's one of the better hands from the trip (and I wasn't even involved)...
On Monday morning/afternoon we decided to play one final session, in the hopes that we might be able to give back all of our profits, obv. My table was composed thusly: Seat 1: Me, yay... Seat 2: A girl around my age, not bad looking but not good at poker, we'll call her Sarah...aggressive and passive at some of the wrong times mostly Seat 3: Sarah's father, apparently he had never played but he was pretty much a huge lucksack and was better than some of the regulars, we'll call him Pops. Seats 4 + 5: Oldish LPs who were generally unremarkable (hardly ever raised w/out a hand) POWs and calldown monkeys in general Seat 6: We'll call him Don, he was slightly more aggressive, semi-bluffed a bit but wasn't good at preflop hand selection and making folds ever Seat 7: A skinny little thuggy Russian kid with aviator sunglasses that he puts on only when he's in a hand and a shaved head (we'll call him Yuri). He made several mistakes like mucking his (winning hand) before showing it but I've played w/ him before so I'm not sure if that was genuine or what. He bet draws and was generally aggressive sometimes wisely sometimes stupidly. I think he saw someone checkraise one time on TV and thought he'd try it over and over IRL. Seats 8-10: Populated w/ people who were slightly more aggressive but equally loose and not any more talented than the 4 and 5 seats Ok, so, PF Action: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]... hero folds, <font color="red">Sarah raises</font>, Pops calls, 2 folds, Don calls, <font color="red">Yuri reraises</font>, 1 fold, SB calls, BB folds, 3 calls 5 Players to the flop (16 sb) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, <font color="red">Sarah bets</font>, Pops calls, <font color="red">Don raises</font>, <font color="red">Yuri reraises</font>, SB calls, <font color="red">Sarah caps</font>, Pops folds, Don, Yuri, and SB call Four players to the turn (16.5 bb) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, <font color="red">Sarah bets</font>, <font color="red">Don raises</font>, <font color="red">Yuri reraises</font>, SB folds, Sarah calls, <font color="red">Don caps</font>, Yuri and Sarah call. 3 players to the river (28.5 bb) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="red">Sarah bets</font>, <font color="red">Don raises</font>, <font color="red">Yuri reraises</font>, Sarah and Don call... Results in white (ship it) <font color="white">Sarah shows JsTs</font> <font color="white">Don shows As3d</font> <font color="white">Yuri shows 5s7s</font> Final pot 37.5 BB lol... and there's plenty more where that came from...The rest of my TR will be written w/ my usual Emersonian literary charm so you won't want to miss it.
