Default Odo ldo? NL50 I misplays a set?

Sorry for the obscure title - google Odo birth if curious...

BTN is 45/18/2 over 80 hands calls alot of opens and floats flop about 2/3 time

BB is a 25/17 1/2 stack TAGfish that sees alot showdowns -called 2 pfrs with broadway junk OOP

I've been fairly tight and only played small pots so far.
Comments on all streets/betsizing too please.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (UTG): $54.15
BTN: $46.95
SB: $26.75
BB: $47.85

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, SB calls $1.50, BB folds

Flop: ($5.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB bets $2, Hero raises to $8, BTN calls $8, SB calls $6

Comments on raise size vs donk bet - at the time I thought chances of an overcall /raise high and this size allows PSB turn shove -but should this be a PSR?

Turn: ($29.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB bets $17 and is All-In, Hero calls $17, BTN calls $17

o.k. worst card in deck falls - After he donks AI I think that card helped him most likely -so str8/QJ - is my turn call of 17 EV for boatage odds and also the fact BTN could shove over the top? ( I would call an AI i fhe did that)
I made this turn call mostly based on 25% or so boating odds despite the fact >1/3 stack in means I'm PNL commited

River: ($80.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players - 1 is All-In)
Hero checks, BTN bets $20.20 and is All-In, Hero folds

BTN's overcall worries me I think @ least one has the srtr8 now given the board and think I have the worst hand so checkt he river -bad fold given I've got to be good only 20% time on pot odds alone?

HU I would be more inclined to get AI but 3way I think the % 1 or more holds the str8 is much higher given the board and action

Results: $80.75 Pot ($2 Rake)

This spot just plain sucks.

I mean I think you can fold the turn

Fold turn, 1 card str8 is on table and you have only a bottom set.

ok unanimous so far

So my call with 10 outs to boat on the turn is -EV with BTN behind to act?

I doubt its ten. One of them can easily have two pair.

sick turn. i'd fold. calling the turn to hope to boat it and get paid by the button is pretty much breakeven play in the long run + you have to hope that button won't shove over the top. imho there are better spots to put your money in.

I think you should make a pot sized raise on the flop due to board texture. As played, fold turn.
