this hand is so unbelievably sick. no offense obv phil, but i'd pick up and leave if i was playing someone who is capable of playing hands in this fashion, i.e., really, really well played on his part.

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf are you talking about?

[/ QUOTE ]

FD, are you trying to imply that you are capable of raising with a good hand and then making 3 value bets against someone who you know isn't afraid to call down light? LOL.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think TxRedMan is a limit O8 player if that explains things.

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes I am a live player in regards to NL, i've played < 50K hands of NL online. And yes, I am predominantly a LO8 player in terms of strength/hands played etc etc, but I still think this hand is sick and not only b/c of the way tie played it but also the call on the end by phil. Perhaps impressive is more appropriate than sick, but this hand is a great example of imo a very interesting and awesome HU NLHE hand regardless of the stakes. Ties river bet has to be as close to perfect as it can be, and the way the hand was played seems to say a lot about each players game. I've seen plenty of hands, this one is rather remarkable imho.

man, no offense because i've come around to the "you're not a total idiot" camp and actually like some of your posts, but this one is crazy. if anything, tie cost himself 7k and 3 streets of value on A2325 w/AK in a reraised pot is not anything unusual at all.
