Default Preflop Question

Button is 20/16/2.7 over 600ish. SB is unknown, most likely a drooler.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $3/$6 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $123.00
BB: $870.10
Hero (UTG): $597.00
CO: $582.50
BTN: $632.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $24.00</font>, CO folds, BTN calls $24.00, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $123.00</font>, BB folds, <font color="red">Hero ???

There will be instances where BTN calls with mid-pairs thinking you are raising to isolate, no need, depends on reads for BTN.

I'm never worried about him having a better hand here, if he peels loose he'll quickly realise you're not bluffing a dry sidepot on the flop.

If Button has a brain, all you should be doing here is calling.
