Awesome Turtle Trick

Our 1 year old Red Eared Slider started doing something weird lately.

If my girlfriend rubs her finger against the side of the tank, he'll put both his hands up to his face and wiggle his flippers and kinda open his mouth a little, like a kid making a face.

He won't do it if I rub the tank, he just gets scared and runs off. We looked it up and they do this to be territorial or as kind of a mating dance.

I found this short 10 second video of a big turtle doing it to a baby turtle. Pretty funny stuff.
