Re: What worries you MOST about one of your CFB bets this week?
problem with the under in LSU/V Tech is if the defenses are so dominate that they setup offenses for a short field that much....look at the Clemson/FSU game for an example

Re: What worries you MOST about one of your CFB bets this week?
I have OSU -3.
It just looks too "obvious", a solid Pac 10 team playing a bottom feeder. We all saw how U dub killed the 'Cuse, but I did not realize U dub doesn't start classes (lol school) till late Sept and that was opening week anyway. Now I'm kind of worried about having a west coast team playing a 7:30 eastern game on a Thurs night, against a team that was able to scout them for 2-3 weeks. (Cincy played a jopke school in week 1). OSU also had to show most of their repertoire to win last week. The Pac-10 doesn't employ the weekday games, but OSU played a week 2 Thurs night game in Boise last year and were mauled. If this was mid-season or a mid afternoon Saturday game I would be a lot happier. |

I hate Bama (obv) and I bet on them -3, so they are pretty much a lock to win by exactly 1 or 2 points.

Re: What worries you MOST about one of your CFB bets this week?
Actually, I'm feeling real shaky about OSU too, after betting them. Cincy had two home games against fairly good opponents last year and they beat USF 23-6 and Rutgers 30-11. They're not really a "bottom feeder". Also, OSU's last similar game going east early in the year was a 63-27 loss to Louisville. The only reason I'm betting it is that OSU just shut down a much better offense in Utah and I can't see how Cincinnatti's going to score.

Re: What worries you MOST about one of your CFB bets this week?
sorry just a bit of humor, one thing that worries me about temple is that it is temple who is a very inconsistent team but showed that they can possibly contend last week when they played navy and buffalo was absolutely dominated
If thats not good enough I apologize...I tried Edit: never in my life would I think it would be a good play to lay points with temple.. until this week, guess ill see how it goes |

It may not have been on topic, it was just a thought that occured to me while reading Iggy's post. Just let me know it was off-topic without the needless sarcasm. I have already commented on the games that I currently have action on earlier in the thread, but if I was on the under in Cincy/OSU, I would worry about Yvenson Bernard being too much for the Cincy front seven and Sammie Strougher taking advantage of a potentially poor kicker and kick-off coverage team (at least it was poor against SEMO St.) GL this weekend. |
