i THINK IT was Ellix Powers

[/ QUOTE ]

I hung out with Elix at this years WSOP, he is surprisingly a very cool and down to earth guy who has been playing for decades. Elix doesnt play over his head, in fact he told me he is taking 6 months off to stay at his vacation home (yes, he owns more than one home people - don't believe everything you see on TV) because he is burnt out on the game, he made enough to take the time off already this year. I assume he lives a modest lifestyle, but thats still a fine achievement.

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe the part about him being "cool and down to earth," but I still don't believe that he's made any money from poker...

There's no way Ellix owns a car, let alone a home.

The reason he is taking 6 months off is because he has burned every sucker who gave him money and needs to get a job to rebuild his bankroll.
