Time to trade for Reggie Bush after week is over. Who else? Maybe Brees... hmm. Got to get value from retards when bad weeks happen, especially week one. Lots of suckers want to dump players for bad week. Happens every year.

So my WR3 spot just got a hell of a lot weaker as I have Terry Glenn there - in the event he's out for a large chunk of the season, how much value do you think I could get in trading Marion Barber, Lendale White or Ladell Betts? At the moment I'm playing Devery Henderson there at the moment, but after that my bench consists of Ronald Curry and Dwayne Jarrett...

whoops, posted this in the wrong thread

Ok, what do you guys think about this add/drop?

my team is:

romo
houshmanzadeh
braylon edwards
roy williams
santana moss
isaac bruce
reggie bush
travis henry
jamal lewis
lamont jordan
jason witten
elam
miami def

i want to pick up selvin young, he's travis henry's backup in denver. my reasoning is if henry goes down, he'll be a better option than either jordan or jamal lewis in the denver system.

i cant really ever see playing jamal lewis, even if henry when down; i would start jordan. but there are some weak rb teams in my league and he could be trade bait. worth the drop/add? is he the guy to drop if i do it?

If your gonna drop anyone, drop Bruce. Jordan has a ton of value right now, especially to teams without RB's, so if you trade him your presumably wouldn't get a RB back. I'd rather have lewis and Jordan over Young.

nation:

reposting my response from the other thread:

I'd probably drop Isaac Bruce instead, unless there's some bye week stuff that means you'll need him. Even if you don't, I bet there's comparable production out there on the waiver wire.

cool.

i like having bruce though. he gives me flexibility so i can rotate moss, bruce, and edwards based on matchups. i think im just gonna stay pat for now and see if i can make a trade or something.

I think playing matchups is really tough with WRs. I don't think I'd ever play Bruce over Moss.

What is LT worth trade wise

Say u could trade him for Travis Henry and X what else would X need to be(i.e. a #1 WR and a #3WR, a #1 WR and a #2 or #3 RB) etc ettc

I'd have to be a ton, his value over the #2 RB could be even greater this year with LJ losing carries due to workload and SJ potential loss of Pace for a while or maybe the season.

Not sure how Gore will do, Addai did look really good the first week. Going to be an interesting season. Some QBs and WRs already look rediculous.

The other possibility that I'm thinking is dealing Gates and Maroney for Addai and Driver but that makes me feel like I'm losing too much. Thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]

I made sure I got A. Gates in the third round in both my FF drafts...it's like having a fourth WR on your team. And if you buy into value based drafting, he's way above any of the other TE's in the league fantasy-wise. Don't think you're getting enough value out of this trade...Addai is good, but I'd push for a better receiver than Driver. Maybe I just really like having Gates on my team. He did pay off yesterday
