A monkey could coach the Chargers to 11+ wins. Most loaded team in NFL.

[/ QUOTE ]

Offensively I think a strong chance the Bolts will lead the league in scoring. I like what Turner had brought to the offense. More packages more misdirection, its all really confusing to the defense. Rivers more in command in his second year as a starter, Vincent Jackson tore up the Cardinals last night and looks to break out. Total continuity on strong O-Line/Lo Neal, terminology same, LT, Gates, gimme a break.

Defensively, very much a concern. The DB look bad, again. New ILB not that impressive. But outside linebacker, D-line should be spectacular.

11-5 right on the mark. Can rise up and beat anyone in the post season.

I would pick any team but the patriots to win over 10 games (except the Pats)

Uh...what?

I'm a moran.

i don't think any team is a favorite to win over 10 games except the patriots.

There.

[/ QUOTE ]
Colts? Ravens? Chargers? Bears?

Those are the five that I would think would be likely to win 10+ games. Saints, Eagles, Seahawks, maaaaaaaaybe.

It's the NFL. Colts defense sucks, ravens and bears D should both regress to the mean, Chargers have crappy coaching, etc.

I mean, they all have a good chance to win over 10 games, but favorite. Nah.

I like the Broncos to make it to the AFC Championship but lose to NE/SD.

The Broncos will start out slow but as the team picks up Bates def scheme they will get better and better and be going strong as they enter the playoffs as a WC team

I'll bet you incredible amounts of money that about 3-4 teams are a "favorite" (51% or better) to win 10+ games.

Which teams?

I mean, LDO, over the course of a season, 3-4 teams are going to win more than 10 games.

But at the start of the season, I don't think there are 3-4 teams that are expected to win more than 10 games (pinny agrees).

Patriots are probably the only team that is a favorite to win over 10 games (11+).

Eagles are probably favorites to win 10+ games but not 11+.

Big Giants fan here.... thinking the G-men will have a repeat of last season's record, 8-8 or so. They have a weaker schedule than last year, but without Tiki and Strahan, it will be harder for them to get a whole lot going on either side of the ball. Jacobs/Droughns might be good, but they're no Tiki. Injuries are already piling up, and with the Giants tendency to beat themselves with stupid play-calling and penalties, I don't see much improvement in the coming season. Coughlin is probably on his way out, even though they've been in the playoffs the last couple years. They can pull big games out, like the Eagles OT game last year, and they do have talent on both sides of the ball. However, the Eagles and Cowboys are going to be better this year than last, so the division will be tougher overall. I just hope Wade Phillips stays true to form and screws it all up for Dallas.

I think the big dogs in the NFC will be the Seahawks, Eagles, Saints, and the Rams. I'm still not sold on the Cardinals. The hype machine pumps them up every year it seems, and they never deliver. The Bears still have a great defense, but for some reason I see them faltering mid-season.

AFC, Colts, Pats, and Chargers. Not much of a stretch there.

So you picked every division winner to be the exact same as last season? Hmmm okay.

Predicting the NFL is nearly impossible and people attempting to do so should realize that.

People think the Chargers will do that bad?

Wow. I really thought they were gonna do around 11-5/10-6 range.

Norv Turner is their coach. 'Nuff said.
