Default Deborah Kerr died

I was very sad to hear this - but actually also surprised, I thought she'd died years ago.

She's a central character in several films I like a lot, but none more so than Black Narcissus. I might try and watch it again over the weekend and raise a glass to Deb.

Thank you Deborah Kerr, you brought a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people.

She had a lot of charm and was very pretty. She aged magnificently. I had thought she was no longer with us, too. She seems all but forgotten now.

Wonderful in the "Life and Death of Colonel Blimp" where she played three roles.

I think if I had seen a nun that beautiful when I was a boy, I would have converted on the spot. I probably still wouldn't be out of the woods today.

One of the most famous kisses ever in a movie(as the tide came in).

I love that the beautiful stars of the past, meant more in general than female stars today. It seemed like the starlettes of elder years were so much bigger than the flusies that infilitrate our every moment in todays lives. Was it a better idea of privacy, the lack of the sicko press of today? I dunno, I'm drunk, but Susanne Pleshette in Hitchock's The Birds, will always do it for me better than Brittany Spears in anything she does.
