A normal continuation here would be about 700, but if we did have an ace aren't we betting even more? It seems wrong to put in at least 700 more, to find out what you should've already known. You made a sizable re-raise behind UTG+1 4x raise and a cold-caller, both of which called, yet your saying that less than 1/3 of the time none of them has an ace... that doesn't seem right.

A continuation bet here would be about 1/3 of Hero's stack. And with 2 opponents calling a re-raise preflop they are not folding any ace if you bet.

This is a tough one. Obviously the two pre flop callers could definately have an ace and if you check you are done with this hand because AQs/AK/AA all lead that flop with the flush draw on the board.

I think a strong bet could definately get a mediocre ace to fold here. You have shown a lot of strength pre flop and so I think i lead here for between 700-800 if called or raised then I am done with it.

Considering the blinds are 15/30, you are still in good shape with 1700+ chips.

nah, if it checks through i might bet turn/check river. it's too many BB's to toss off on a bluff hoping nobody hit an ace

Fair point, but do you not think it needs a strong ace to make the call?

If they are calling a re-raise with ace-rag, they are not folding when an ace hits

I disagree, I think a strong bet here could make A9/AT/AJ all fold. So your are only getting called by two hands you are behind too. AK and AQ

I'd go slightly more preflop, I think you're just offering too good odds to the other players. Though I've started to flat call in similar situations as well, probably don't here.
I check this flop, nobody calls with an ace preflop & folds the flop (well MP1 might if UTG didnt fold but then your dead anyway). I'd check it HU aswell. Betting knocks out worse hands & doesnt knock out any better hands. So don't bet. With 2 other people in here it's a fold if someone bets.

My bad, of course A9 isn't folding. I think you will be suprised how many weak aces with call a three bet pre flop at the lower levels. i think some of you are giving the villains too much credit, as am I I guess thinking they can fold an ace.

I just don't like handing the initiative away...
