Default AK in SB multiway

No Stats on MP2 or anyone else at the table really. During my first hand at the Table MP2 Cold-Called a Cutoff Raise with J7o. He has been raising a fair amount of hands Pre-flop but none that I've seen shown down.

Rest of the table seems pretty loose Passive.

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (13 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, UTG folds, MP1 folds.

Turn: (8.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Button calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

River: (12.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Button folds, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

As soon as Button folds on the River this was an auto-call for me. I'm not exactly sure what I would have done had he stayed in, probably still called and felt a lot worse about it.

aaron just posted a thread where some people (including me) advocated just calling a raise with AQ from the SB. however, i think AK has too big an edge to just call here, especially with all these other muppets in the pot. 3bet for value.

the board is kinda scary, but i think we should donk or c/r for value once we improve. maybe not. i sort of wish you had cut off the action at the turn, as it's a weird spot.

i have no problem calling this river, especially after button folds. do you have the discipline to fold for one more if MP2 raises?

3 bets preflop.

I likely would have donked the turn, although I'm not sure about it. Check/raising doesnt seem right, although I definitely don't think its out of the question. Just if it goes 3 bets, we're [censored]. That'd be my main argument. We'd have to call a bet for gutshot draw, then if we missed, I don't know I'd be able to fold getting like 20+:1.

Fold the river.

3-bet preflop. Turn I don't know. River is a fold though.

pf - reraise for value and to try and fold bb, UTG, and MP1

flop - call

turn - call

river - I'm shedding a tear, and folding here, even in a huge pot. On the turn CO has two pair or a possible straight, by the river he's not the only one.

I always 3-bet preflop with AK.
I think the river is an easy fold even with a big pot.

Yeah. There are several differences:
1) Hand strength (AKo >> AQo when OOP and facing a raise)
2) Number of villains (AKo vs 5 players >> AQo vs 3 players)
3) Reads ("He has been raising a fair amount of hands Pre-flop but none that I've seen shown down." + "Rest of the table seems pretty loose Passive." >> "No reads")
