Personally, with M=11 I'm *usually* not comfortable putting my entire tournament on the line by *calling* with KQs. It depends on the opponent and scenario, but more often than not I'm just not comfortable with that. To each his own, but *one* of the reasons I would raise to 11k preflop is so that if this scenario arises, I don't have a tough decision and can insta-fold.

This is one reason why the raise to 3.75xBB is bad here. It makes an easy decision into a tough decision.
