merge your range obv [/ QUOTE ] He doesn't know what this means. Basically, if you're not sure if you are winning at the river, value bet anyway, and hope your opponent makes the wrong decision (folds when ahead, calls when behind). Also, no one ever has anything. |

Re: Been away for one month... what has happened game has changed
[ QUOTE ]
play mostly 1/2 6 max on Ft and a little 2/4 too. i took a month off, played in some mtts and sngs for a break and decided last night to start playing some ring again. I was a 4ptbb/100 winner and felt like i had a good read on most tables. well 3 hours last night and 2 hours tonight and i am lost. Am i imagining this or am i right... blinds dont fold to raises any more, more people than ever call raises and less than half of the people that used to fold to c bets do. i almost feel the cbet is not profitable anymore. I feel like i need to tighten up more than ever and only play real premium hands and i even when i did that i still got stacked when with 3 limpers in 1/2 i raised pre to 15 with KK, still got 2 callers and on a 842 board got stacked when got all in with 89o and the 9 hit... i dont care about the hand just showing they are calling big raises with nothing.. Advice to get me from tilting please Thanks [/ QUOTE ] this is a good thing. quick, everyone to full tilt. edit: as far as people floating cbets-- double barrel more? |

Meh. On every site, the games ebb and flow. Come back in 6 months and it will have changed again.

Re: Been away for one month... what has happened game has changed
OK I have only been playing for 6 months so it just caught me by surprise just a few weeks off. I tightened up alot last night in my second session and it seemed to work better. A lot tighter pre and letting them bluff a lot when i was sure i had the best hand. It seems to have turned into no foldem holdem.
Here is a theory, and again i havent been playing long but recently i started watching high stakes poker on tv and the garbage they play blew my mind... could it be people are watching that and playing their 93s and 85o more often? As was stated above its not a bad thing just caught me off gaurd and lost a few buyins jsut from failed c bets the last couple nights |

i would start by being bold and aggressive and probably putting someone to a decision for all of his/her chips. [/ QUOTE ] what if i only want to put him to a decision for a fraction of his chips? |

Since when is it a bad thing that people call you down light? You should be a bigger winner than ever.
