Default What are the odds of THIS PokerStars suckout??

I know that "it's poker", but the following hand has me a little miffed. I am in Seat 1 with a short stack and the blinds are starting to hurt.

Seat 1: 22233 (1345 in chips)
Seat 2: big democrat (12232 in chips) out of hand (moved from another table into small blind)
Seat 3: Ajames86 (5340 in chips)
Seat 4: lazerboy25 (1080 in chips)

Actually he was unlucky he got 4 jacks, and he only needed 3.

and that, in & of itself should be a bit of a lesson for you....even if the probability of something happening is less than 1% - it's still not really all that uncommon in the long run. It's hard to impress (unless maybe you lose your house over it).

So you more experienced players - why does it feel like I keep losing hands where I'm favourite?

Apparently by making bets with +EV, I should be doing better in the long run. But it seems I've had a long streak of losing hands where I'm favourite - apparently this might turn one day. True?

Bad beats stick in your mind a lot more than when you win as a favorite. Get your money in when you are ahead and in the long run you will be fine.

you were 90 to 10 favourite, or to be more accorate 88,5% to 11.5%... so it's definately a bad beat, but it's not SICK.
