I was at that table, I think I know who you are. You're quite bad.

you need to move down a few levels and get a feel for the game of poker. seriously. if you worry about losing 1k then your not ready for this size game w/ your current skill set.

i want to get as much money in as possible in both hands. IMO, neither hand is close, there are so few combos that beat you while draws are out there + top pair or 2 pair hands are within his range.

I love this site . Thanks for the feedback, which was mostly just confirming my own thoughts, but none of my friends play poker, so when I go through a series of coolers and lost coin tosses, I just have to reconfirm my actions.

Hand 1:

o I could have pushed the flop, but I didn't want to risk him folding.

o Folding was never an option. I didn't bet $100 on turn just to fold to a RRAI.

Hand 2:

o I pushed. There was no way villain had AA. Why push??? Cause Villain was a complete nut bar and if he was going to call $200, he'd call $400 and I was not going to fold to a re-raise. He called with J9. Clearly I under bet the turn or should have bet the flop (probably would have got a call anyway).

FWIW, I finished up that session.

Yeah, I'm not very good (ty for pointing that out... very insightful feedback jackass), but I don't entirely suck either. I have never shied away from what appear to be coin flips and I am not playing with scared $.

Okay, now I have to ask. Were any of you actually serious about folding hand 1??

Hand 1 plays itself, just get it all in.

Hand 2, raise turn to $100, get it all in on river.

If you worry of oversets you are going to lose a lot of value in the future.

Cool. Hand 2 was at the beginning the next day... so no I don't tend to worry about over sets.
