Default Oneida Casino - Green Bay, WI

Cross-post from another forum:

Apparently there is a poker room at some Bingo Casino in Green Bay, WI - called Oneida:

I'm going to be there this weekend for a wedding and may have some time to kill on Friday/Saturday afternoon. Has anyone played here? If so, tell me what to expect - what games? What limits? How big? Time charge vs. rake? ETC...

Thanks,

Ben

I've played there on occasion when I get back home. (live in Chicago now) Raked game. 3/6 limit and 1/2 or 2/5 NL are all I've ever seen spread. About 10 tables. Be prepared to wait on weekends. Poker room is in the 'slots/VP only' casino. (There is another casino you can shuttle to that has table games) Get on the list and they will page you over PA when your seat is available. Full food/drink service. They'll even take deliveries from local restaurants for you. As Green Bay isn't very big it can be pretty 'locals heavy'. Easy to get to, though.

I went there in July and had a good time. It is at the 'Mason Street Casino' I think - not part of the main casino but closer into Green Bay. They only had 3/6 limit and 1/2 NL running from what I could tell. Mostly locals and regulars, the dealers seemed to know half the table. Nonetheless it was pretty soft and I was able to double my buy-in in a few hours at limit. Would love to go back if I ever make it back up to WI.

They do enforce the betting line so make sure to verbalize your bets clearly, they forced a couple oblivious players into raising when they were holding a stack of chips while dropping their chips into the middle.

I've been there many, many times. They spread 3/6 and 2/5 NL with a $100 min/$500 max. Both games are extremely soft - 3/6 is a joke, and NL is one of the softest NL games I've played in. A couple regulars who know what they're doing, but that's about it.

Tournaments on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Call ahead so you don't have to wait.

No 1/2 NL, btw.

My bad. Couldn't remember for sure. I only play the 3-6 due to the softness.
