Default When extremely intelligent coaches think too much

What the [censored] was eric mangini (sp?) thinking when he didn't go for that field goal in the Jets/Colts game? That the Jets didn't need every point they could muster against the best regular season team in football? That going 3-1 could be bad for the Jets in the long run? Seriously, any serious feeback requested, I'm dumbfounded.

He was probably thinking about what the right call would be and it seems he discovered it.

What would the title of this thread be if the Jets had made the TD?

Can someone summarize the score, time, down+distance when this play happened? No, it's not in the other thread.

I'm pretty sure I'd still think it was a bad call. I like to think that poker has trained me to be non-results oriented when thinking about anything odds related.

Score was tied at 14 with ~4 minutes left in the 3rd. It was 4th and 2 or so. I believe this was an 18-play drive.

anyone else think the intentional safety by SD was stupid? If they punt it away and Baltimore still scores a TD, they are only down by 1, and there is more time on the clock.

marty is one of the least intelligent coaches in the nfl. there is absolutely no way that man should have a [censored] job. for anyone that watched that game all the way through- guh. he is so [censored] bad. 13 running plays in a row at on point. he defines playing not to lose and it is beyond pathetic that an nfl team is managed like a JV team with a backup quarterback.
