I discovered the cure for a bad day at the table. Play Lag until one of the morons makes fun of you and then ridicule him until he cries. Now I'm as happy as a a clam in mud. although I did get called Mr. Window and Mr door knob and still dont know what the hell that means. He also burned me by saying "I pay attention every hand"

[/ QUOTE ]

mr. window - everyone can see right through what you are doing

mr. doorknob - everyone is going to get a turn

ps. capping me with A7s is bad, and the fact you are justifying is made me smile.

GL in Vegas- went to Ceasar's IN this weekend with the wife and some friends...no poker but found that I enjoy that video roulette game. Spin is every 30 seconds and you don't have to hastle with throwing chips all over to cover your numbers. Still has a live wheel but it just goes so much faster. Also played slots and actually enjoyed just drinking and not having to think while I gamble...

This month on ABS: 10k hands 2/4 running 3bb/100 41%W$SF which is sick if you consider the bbj rake.
3/6 is -2bb/100 36%W$SF...I need to just decide to grind 3/6 and not care about the $...so over-rolled for 2/4 and even 3/6 for that matter.

If his PFR is really 2, this is an easy fold to the turn raise.

If you made a typo and his PFR is actually 12, it's a lot closer, but I personally would still fold. (Possibly reverse dominated, drawing to 6 outs at most - you are almost never good here unimproved unless you have a read that he's a regular spewer)

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont see what his pfr as to do with his turn range for raising this turn

[/ QUOTE ]

If he's starting with the top 2% of hands, you really have very little equity vs his range by the turn. Also, you don't often see a tight-passive player raise the turn with air. Also, given that he isn't bluffing often, even if you hit your A or J, your chances of winning aren't good.

Palomino, I'd probably play it like you did vs a 30/20/2. You can't trust most of those players at all, and even if you're behind your outs are still live vs a 20PFRer.

When did you become such an unimaginative nit? Dont check the flop and it might be a slightly -Ev play. You got a great flop and checked, which makes the cap gold

This only makes sense though if I was losing. I was up $300 on a 3-6 table and said villian had just called me down in two huge pots dawing stone dead on the flop and turn.

I envy you lucky bastards. I had a hankering for live poker last week and had to settle for the biggest game spread: 4-8. Bleech.

Also, Zach, you have to be the ugliest woman alive.
