This really depends on how LAG he has been. I really don't like this unless he is has shown that he is a complete maniac. His only weakness he has shown is not reraising preflop.

whenever I do this he's bluffing with K8.

i think it's marginal, but you should think about how your hand is going to do at showdown before the flop action goes down and you may have avoided this situation. on this type of board I'm only going to c/r if the guy will spew a lot on boards like this. In other words, I value raise here but I never semibluff.

Think about the hands that are better than yours here (I'm skipping any pair+ hand because they're obv never folding): AK/AQ pretty much always try to showdown on this kind of board, AJ/A8/KQ/KJ/K8 are hu monsters and will very often 3bet, A6/K6 require 3 barrels to fold and A6 maybe not even then. so you're basically trying to fold A5-A2/K5-K3, and within the Ax hands he's going to have the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 1/4 of the time two clubs 1/16 of the time. so what are you trying to accomplish on the flop? if you think you have some sd value and he'll bluff at you just call down.
