Default Jonah Lomu - Rugby Video thread

http://youtube.com/watch?v=xoHL0nYlP...ed&search=

Let's start a great rugby video thread. One of my favourites a 118kg man who could run a sub 11s 100m running over another player. Despite his awesome career he had massive problems with his kidney and we didn't get to see as much greatness from his as possible. And i'm not even a nz'er

Meh. I don't get it. Just have no knowledge of rugby to appreciate these videos.

I would have to agree. That first run wouldn't be in Earl Campbell's top ten.

Rugby makes American Football look like a Tupperware party.

Lomu was pretty remarkable, it was a huge pity that his career was hurt so much by kidney problems. He was only 20 in the first video, but that was pretty much the peak of his career as his health deteriorated. Still a very effective player for a long time though, just not the force he could have been.

This is an easy debate to get drawn into, but I think the fact that Lomu doesn't have five other guys blocking for him and doesn't get to sit down and have a rest anytime the other side have the ball counts in his favour.

I really like this Six Nations 2007 video, although it is missing the best moment.
