grunch*

Your preflop raise is too small.

I raise either alot preflop (~200) or more likely I just call with these guys and try to flop big. The size of your bet is not getting anyone to fold preflop and all you are doing is building a pot OOP.

Once you miss the flop, you have no hand, let it go you're OOP.

I would just call pre-flop about half or more of the time, and rarely c-bet OOP into two people. Then give up. This early in the tournament it is bad to go all the way with AK.

I would not bet then SO much pre flop - maybe 90?

[/ QUOTE ]

Raising to 90 after 3 limpers would be disgusting.
You have to raise the same amount you would with any hand in your raising range or you will be predictable.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is only ever a problem against people who are both:
a/ regulars you have often played with
b/ paying attention

The bigger problem is that donks realise you're tight, and put you on AK every [censored] time anyway.

Preflop - Fine

Flop - Fine to c-bet on ragged board. Check-folding is OK too.

Turn - Spew. Just check/fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

It cannot be fine to cbet this flop and then checkfold the turn. You'll get called *a lot* on that flop, because *everyone* stabs at a paired flop, and this one has a twoflush too. And you're just giving it away every time you don't hit your six outs? No way is that good.
