Default KQo SB

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP1: $10.15
MP2: $24.65
CO: $38.50
BTN: $29.85
Hero (SB): $30.55
BB: $28.50
UTG: $24.30
UTG+1: $23.20
UTG+2: $25

Pre-Flop: K Q dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $1.10</font>, BTN folds, Hero calls $1, BB folds, UTG+2 calls $0.85

Flop: ($3.55) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, <font color="red">CO bets $3</font>, Hero calls $3, UTG+2 folds

Turn: ($9.55) 8 (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $7</font>, CO calls $7

River: ($23.55) 9 (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">CO bets $8</font>, Hero calls $8

Preflop: I think my call is standard if I don't hit a peace of the flop I'm out of there.
Flop: I check OOP (my first mistake) to see where everyone thinks there at *Tell me why I'm doing the wrong thing here please*

River: I don't have any idea why I checked (obv very bad play) because the fd missed, str8 cards are unlikely although he could have J10.

I'v lost a majority of my money with just one pair and i think this hinders in the back of my head when i get into situations like this. Please critique me people.

3bet/fold preflop.

Flop looks fine.
Turn: Let him bet again. If you bet out here, you could as well have raised the flop.
River: Why do you check? Lead for half the pot.

And btw: High card and One Pair are always losers, you cant be profitable with them.

I would have called preflop too. Gotta bet out or check raise on flop though to get a real good idea of where you stand.

[/ QUOTE ]This hand is the exact reason that you shouldn't call preflop. Your other sentence makes no sense.

This was also going threw my head. KQ is a hand easy dominated most of the time.
