Default I have a problem...

It's an unimproved overcard problem.

I think I am too aggressive on the turn. I play hands like this too often and I think it is a big leak of mine.

BB is 30/9/1.49 for over 1K hands. went to Sd 39 won @ sd 51. Sadly most of these hands are mined and I had no notes on him.

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 5 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 5.25 BB

I can't tell if it is the near 300bb downswing I'm on or if this is a huge leak. I find myself in situations like this a lot, where I've worked myself into a HU situation and blown it somewhere later in the hand. Not just with AQ hands either. Should I be playing more passive lately? Sometimes I wish I could unlearn everything (what little it is) I've learned and just start over.

Any advice?

Your vpip seems to high. There is a lot of BBs lost between 20.5 and 22.5 at this level I think (never played it, just extrapolating my 0.5/1 experience)

I play the same, usually, When showing down crap (or running bad), you will be called down by any pair so you can take the freecard on turn. Then call a lot of rivers against aggro people (same price, you might induce bluffs from folding hands and at least you are unbluffable)

but what do I know.

i don't bet the turn all the time here

there isn't a lot on the flop to call with and the turn card isn't a threat

i expect this guy to have:
low GS
small pair
weak board hit that he wont fold on that turn

lol, why no buzz. it's been like 4 years and this is my first over 250. I hope that is what it is and my suckyness/not good enough isn't catching up to me. I'm thinking that the way my graph is going, something is wrong with my game.

Now I'm playing [censored] like this:

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: (5 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (5 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7 BB

Results in white below:
SB has 4h 5h (full house, fours full of aces).
Hero has 8h 8s (two pair, aces and eights).
Outcome: SB wins 7 BB.

hell, now I'm starting to whine. maybe 60 str8 poker days is too many and I need a break.

Beni, bet this turn. Fish will draw to any of their two cards over 4 or will call down with any pp.

OK, so are you talking b/f here? I think that's my problem lately. The fish are trying to tell me something and I'm just not believing them. I feel like I'm either out raising everybody or out folding everybody.
