there is definitely a type of player who never has a hand here.

When a guy raises into a better and a caller, top pair, solid kicker is like never good, especially with the flush draw getting there.

I agree with Luego about folding the turn. People do check behind flush draws on the flop on occasion, 444 is also very possible. I think it's very unlikely he is raising the turn with air, maaaaaaybe like AdQx or something but even that is pretty unlikely.

Definitely fold river as played though, I think he has a flush like every time.

because i think his bluffing frequency (esp for a 4/5 psb on river compared to the tiny turn raise) goes down dramatically. do you disagree?

yes - if he has enough balls to do this w Ad (which seems reasonably likely given the way people play) - doesnt he have enough balls to fire all rivers? if he is semibluffing tun he is not shutting down. this is 44 or nada and i dont think 44 raises here some huge % of the time - and fd bets flop way more.

yea i def think this is 44. i think his turn range is {44, semibluffs} and his river range is {44, bluffs} and i think any reasonable opponent would expect a call like always here (meaning theyre not bluffing often).
