i'd take the same line vs this villian. nice hand.

that is beauty of calling preflop with QQ and having 3 see the flop. his hand becomes very transparent when he c-bets this flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you're playing me I'm going to c-bet that flop about 95% of the time. I knew there was a good reason I do that.

You say tight, So what range do you put him on utg+1 pre?

[/ QUOTE ]

My point here was that I think villian cbets a lot here...

I flat call flop, unless I know villian is likely to shoot again on the turn a high % of the time.

Based on this, it looks like you are playing this hand for set value only.

Why not fold preflop if you're going to fold the flop to an obvious c-bet? If his range is really so tight that you can fold that flop you should be able to fold preflop. If it's wide enough you can call preflop, you can call that flop. I just don't see how that flop changes much.

Folding preflop is dumb, even if he plays AA or KK face up you call 80 for set value.

How valuable is a set in a game where people fold overpairs for a flop bet? I agree folding preflop is dumb. I'm also saying the value of QQ hasn't changed a whole lot no matter what his preflop range is.

i would call and fold to a turn bet

if he bets AK he bets TT, he can also theoretically have AQ, and most good regulars that cbet will shut down on the turn imo

of course, if he can't have AK then yes fold

[/ QUOTE ]

Most people don't bet 200 w/ AK here (rightfully not).

This is very bad, especially on a flop like that. I hope I just plugged a leak for you.

If he is raising something like AK,JJ+ here then the fold is definitley the best play. You are only good if he is c-betting into 2 players with AK, JJ/KK/AA all have you beat and you split QQ. He would have to be opening very wide to make this a call or raise I would think. I like it.

Folding preflop here is fine. Calling for set value here is awful if xyz is any good as he should be able to fold OPs pretty easily.

This is just ridicolous.
If you just call for set value and you hit a set of Q is way more disguisable then a set of mid cards.
Chances he holds AK + set value give hero all the implied odds to make the 80 chips call.
