I'd lose more in RB than I'd gain in bonus doing that

I'm worried about the same. I may go play elsewhere until the promotion passes.

[/ QUOTE ]

What are you talking about???? If there arn't any deposit fees or extra stuff deducted from mgr, the 150 is 100% rb intead of the paltry 25-40% you would normally get from a room which allows rakeback.

I know nothing about Party unmentionable, but I've never heard of a rakeback plan where getting a bonus would result in a net loss vs RB alone. Usually bonuses are deducted from your MGR, NOT your RB...then your RB is calculated based on whatever is left of your MGR, if anything. Even if they deducted the bonus directly from your RB (unprecedented, AFAIK), how would you end up with LESS than RB alone? The worst case would be that you receive the same.

I think if you're playing 1/2 6m LHE, this might take like 13,000 hands to clear. I did the math on 2/4 and found out that at 60% raked (maybe full ring?) it was 6000 hands.

Not terrible for 150.

Except that without RB, I'd lose more in RB than I'd gain in bonus doing that.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ummm...I would think that a 40x raked hands bonus IS pretty terrible. The only thing I see being worthwhile about this bonus is that I imagine it will clear concurrently with any other bonus you might be clearing.

I'm guessing that a 40x raked hand bonus is substantially less than 100% rakeback.

Nits? No. Unless someone knows something that I don't this would be impossible at NL100.

With that being said I could easily transition to back to my old games of 2/4 or 3/6. Is it worthwhile?
