The only advice I can offer is to wait it out. I don't know much about your play, but it seems that you are pretty good. The one thing you must never ever ever ever do is doubt yourself! Stay positive, and keep reassuring yourself that you are in a fact a very good player.

85k break-even is brutal, but it happens to the best of us. O yea, and for running 22/18, it seems that a total AF of 2.75 is way way too low.

That's pretty sick, and tough to take I can imagine.

I would try moving right down to 25NL and take a bankroll of $400 or so. At first itll seem stupid and you may spew because the money means nothing, but itll force you to adapt and beat the game. When you make about 10 BIs, move up to 50NL, adapt again, and the money will start seeming more real. Itll prove to yourself you can win at the game, give you some confidence, and itll only take 10K hands.

I'm running pretty bad at the moment. Only this month, so not as bad as you. (Down maybe 13BIs over 10K hands.) But I think there are positives to be drawn from running badly.

I spew too much, but previously I've not worried that much about it, because if you've won 4BIs for the session, you're not that worried about the buyin that you spewed off.

When you're running bad, all the money you leave on the table, all the money you spewed becomes that much more important. So you concentrate more on decisions. You're forced to get better.

So, coming out the other end of a downswing you should be a better player. Get better or give up. It sounds like the OP has gotten better. Good luck going forward.

Good post Aisle about showing up with the goods.
