Default squeeze. live 5-10nl. 2.5k deept with villain.

young guy who really respects me and is super tight (will repop me with aces or kings) calls and fold otherwise opens for 30 from early position. 5 callers. Hero looks at 44. almost always I call but decide to squeeze. make it 175 from the button. super tight guy calls and villain calls. he is MP1 3 to the flop of

what do you put villain on. I have made an 800 dollar flop and can't bring myself to fold. I'm worried about the super tight guy having a set of queens so I just call. super tight guy folds and me and villain see the turn (5 hears) HU.

villain bets 350. hero?

and I'd be more concerned with "tight guy" than villian, but I'm weak/tight...

wow his turn bet is really dirty. I had this happen to me live today, he CRd to 500, then he bet 500 on the turn, and I was so damn confused I folded. Very similar board, too. I think these weak "blocker" bets are usually with draws or weak made hands, so if people think you are solid I could see raising to 1k flat. Leaving you with approx 1k behind.

It puts him in a bad spot and stunts him on the river in case he calls and has a FD or straight draw that your 4s "might" beat.

I would raise though, his turn donk bet is very odd.

FWIW I fold this flop, and if I find myself at the turn here I am definitely raising.

i raised to 1k straight on the turn. villain thought for a little while before smooth calling. river was a 4.

edit - wasn't 1k straight. he bet 3 and change. i made it about 900 straight.

Flop is like 600 and dude bets 200? Unless ive seen him do this with monsters im obv blasting this....1k straight...
As for turn...im moving in....[censored] him.. I doubt hes betting so little with AQ. Thats what they get for betting small.

thabadguy. reason i didn't raise the flop is because i'm worried about the nit having a set of queens. and there is more than 600 in there on the flop.
