- When you flop open trips, someone else has a boat.
- Gutshots will hit 90% of the time when you put in a lot of BB's on the flop.
- Nobody folds a full house
- When you have Kings or Queens, an ace will flop, and someone will have A,3o.
- Despite what you raise pre-flop, someone is bound to have 2 extremely low cards that will invariably hit an A-5 Straight.
- On a 2, 3, 4, 5 board, your AK/AQ/AJ is never good. Someone always has A,6 or K, 6 suited.
- The more money you put in when behind, the more likely you are to catch up. That is what it means by "You have to be aggressive to be a winning player."
